After I complete the upgrade process, how long will it be before I can start using CLEAR 4G?
You will continue to use your Clearwire modem to access the Internet until you receive your new CLEAR modem. Once you receive your CLEAR modem, or once we send you an email regarding your CLEAR modem, you will plug in and use your super fast CLEAR modem to access the Internet.
Do I have to upgrade to CLEAR?
Yes. Your upgrade to CLEAR is mandatory and will need to be completed as soon as possible to avoid any interruption of your service.
How will I know when my area is being upgraded to CLEAR?
Clearwire will make every reasonable effort to notify you by mail, email, and phone when it is time for you to upgrade to CLEAR. It is very important that your contact information is up to date. To update your contact information, please sign in at Clearwire.com or call Customer Care at 888-Clearwire (any day between 9 a.m. and 10 p.m.).
What do I do with my old modem?
We've made it easy for you to return your old modem to us. You will receive a pre-paid UPS return label by email, and in the package of your new device, so you can return your equipment to us free of charge. We have arranged for a recycling program to dispose of your old equipment.

Do I have to pay anything additional in order to upgrade to CLEAR?
No. We've got you covered. All you need to do is plug in your new CLEAR modem when you receive it, and return your Clearwire modem using the pre-paid shipping label.
